We had a change of plans, we have found that the boat has become much too difficult to get around on. We are selling it, not an easy decision to make and not one I want to do. So for all of you out there looking for a good 27' Sea Ray Sundancer with a 454 cubic inch engine Bravo 3 out drive and lots of extras get on line and go to www.bemarine.com and look at the brokerage boats to see the listing. When we bought the boat of course we were very excited and for five good years she was a constant weekend enjoyment. But alas age has caught up with me, my knees are shot and I must get them both replaced real soon. Kathy is not as limber as she once was and together we decided the boat has to go and now we have made the decision that we really have to sell her.
As many of you already know, we bought the Cops R Us at B & E Marine in Michigan City, IN on a fine June day in 2002, right after returning from a trip to Mexico. We had been bitten by the boating bug and we were avid boaters for 6 summers until my knees started giving me trouble and Kathy was having a difficult time going forward to be the windlass. We had gone on many fine journeys around the big lake our most memorable was our trip to Mackinac Island. I still refer to that trip as The Trip From Hell. The Lake gods tested our metal on that trip and unfortunately I got the raw deal. I was pounded to submission and had to trailer the boat back home. The story and pictures are still here on the site and we will be around the South Bend area for a few more years, we are still to young to retire
